Up to five trading days. A complete system. Here's how to use it.
Once a month, StrongerTrades opens its doors — full premium access, no credit card, no catch. The trial runs from the 7th to the 14th, which gives you up to five trading days to evaluate the platform the right way.
Five days isn't much time if you spend it poking around. It's more than enough if you spend it running the same daily process, on the same symbols, session after session.
This article walks you through exactly that process — and why, by day five, you'll have a clear answer on whether StrongerTrades belongs in your trading workflow.
Trade in simulation first
Simulation — also called paper trading — means you execute trades as if they were real. You track your entries, your exits, your results. But no actual money is on the line.
It's how traders get comfortable with something new before putting real capital behind it. A new platform, a new technique, a new process — simulation lets you build confidence and iron out mistakes without the added pressure of live results.
That's exactly how you should approach the trial. Five days, three symbols, all of it in simulation. The goal isn't to make money. It's to learn the platform's daily process, train your eye, and build the reflexes that live trading will eventually demand.
Understanding the sessions
Futures markets run across three distinct sessions, each with its own character:
ETH — Extended Trading Hours is the overnight session. Activity is light and setups can take hours to develop. That pace sounds forgiving, but it's actually too slow for effective learning — by the time something resolves, the context is gone and retention suffers.
Asian/London is more active than ETH. Setups move at a pace that's meaningful enough to learn from and worth paying close attention to.
RTH — Regular Trading Hours is where most trading happens. Volume is highest and when setups arrive they move fast — faster than most new platform users are ready for. This is where unpreparedness is most expensive.
Each session is its own complete picture. A symbol can have a full set of trades entirely within ETH, entirely within Asian/London, or entirely within RTH. The sessions run independently, in parallel, every single day.
The Live Session report: your real-time read on the market
The Live Session report covers all 12 markets across all three sessions simultaneously. It's today's data — a live read on what's happening right now, updated continuously throughout the trading day.
The report sets expectations based on how each symbol typically performs. Those session progress percentages are your reference point — low numbers can reveal a day worth skipping entirely, or a day worth watching very closely because something unusual is developing. Either way, the report tells you where to direct your attention before you've committed to anything.
That includes knowing when to sit out. Recognizing a day with nothing worth trading — and having the data to support that read — is as valuable as spotting a strong setup. The trial is where you start developing that judgment.
Where to start each day
Years of experience point to one consistent entry point: 2-3 hours before RTH opens.
At that point the Asian/London session has been running long enough to show you something real. Setups are developing at a pace that's meaningful enough to learn from but not so fast that you're reacting before you've thought. By the time RTH opens, you've already been watching your symbols — you're not starting cold.
That said — the market doesn't follow schedules. This timing is a guideline built from experience, not a rule. ETH can spike in activity at moments. The three-hour window can be dead. RTH can open slow. The pattern breaks whenever the market decides it does, and it will.
The daily loop
Every trading day has three parts. Run all three, every day, for all five days.
Part 1 — Live Session report
Start here, 2-3 hours before RTH.
Check the report across all 12 markets. Look at your three symbols specifically — what do the session progress numbers tell you? Is today shaping up as a day worth trading or a day worth sitting out? Note what you see, then watch how the rest of the session develops against that read.
Come back to this page throughout the day. The report updates as each session runs. What it showed you three hours before RTH may look very different by the time RTH is an hour in.
Part 2 — GRID and alerts
Once you're oriented, move to the GRID.
StrongerTrades covers 12 futures markets across three GRID pages. Navigate to the page that contains the symbol you want to work with. That view puts four related markets on one screen simultaneously — you're not watching your symbol in isolation, you're seeing what's happening around it at the same time. That perspective is part of what the GRID is for.
When you're ready to adjust your alerts, click the symbol label on the GRID. That takes you into the signal page — a full view of that symbol where you can raise or lower the ST-1 Trigger. Lower the value and alerts fire earlier. Raise it and they become stricter, firing only when conditions are more developed. Spend the early days of the trial finding the setting that matches how you want to trade.
During RTH especially, setups come fast. Simulation gives you the reps without the exposure. Each time an alert fires, observe what the market was doing at that moment. That picture, repeated day after day, is what builds the reflex. Over five days, patterns start to emerge — and that's when it starts to stick.
If at any point you find yourself overwhelmed or unsure what you're looking at, don't guess. StrongerTrades has a library of articles that cover these concepts in detail — they're free and available to everyone. Use them.
If you're accessing the trial as a Select or Pay-As-You-Go member, you also have access to online training classes. Those are worth taking advantage of as well.
Part 3 — Post-session review
Before you close out for the day, return to the Live Session report page.
You have roughly an hour before the next session begins. Use it. The same page you checked this morning now shows you the full picture of how the day ran — the stats, the session performance across all three sessions, the complete read on what actually happened.
Reconcile two things: what the platform showed you, and what you witnessed yourself. Where did they line up? Where didn't they? The numbers tell a story. Whether that story matches what you experienced in real time is the most important question you can ask during the trial.
Do this every day. The pattern across five sessions will tell you more than any single day can.
The Trade Study: confirmation arrives later
A day or more after a session closes, check the Trade Study.
This is where StrongerTrades surfaces what actually happened — the specific setup, highlighted, with full context on how it developed. Not every session makes it into the Trade Study. Some days simply aren't worth the attention and won't appear. Keep checking back — it updates daily, and when your symbol shows up in the recent list, one question matters:
Did you see that trade when it was setting up? Did you recognize it in real time?
If you did, that's your eye developing. If you didn't, now you know exactly what to look for tomorrow. The Trade Study isn't a grade — it's a reference point. It closes the loop between what the platform saw, what you witnessed, and what actually played out in the market.
Run that loop five times and you'll understand what this platform is actually for.
What five days actually gives you
By the end of the trial you'll have:
- Tracked three symbols across five complete trading days and all three sessions
- Learned to read the Live Session report as a real-time assessment tool updated continuously throughout the day
- Understood the difference between a day worth trading and one worth skipping
- Calibrated your alerts via the signal page on the symbols that matter to you
- Experienced RTH pace in simulation — without financial exposure
- Cross-referenced your live observations against the Trade Study multiple times
- Started building the reflex that live trading will eventually demand
That last one is the point. The traders who upgrade aren't buying software. They're continuing a process they started during the trial — one that gets sharper the longer you run it.
The trial is day one. Not of using the platform. Of becoming a better trader.
